Food Truck Friday – Lady K’s Cafe – Fried Chicken
Back by popular demand – Lady K’s Cafe will be visiting the pool parking lot and is bringing their famous, fresh fried chicken! The truck will be serving dinner, Friday, June 30 from 5-8 pm. Pre-orders are encouraged – but the deadline for pre-orders is THURSDAY, June 29 at 7 PM.
Lady K’s Café – Pre-Order Online – Upon checkout, please choose the option “I’ll Pick It Up Myself” and follow the prompts. You will then select “Pickup Dinner at Broyhill Crest.
Walk-ups are welcome – but pre-orders will take priority…so get your order in to ensure your meal is ready when you arrive!
MONDAY, JULY 3 – BIKE DECORATING AT THE POOL
Bring your kids and their decorations and bikes to the pool to get ready for the July 4th parade. From 4-6:30 pm, in the pavilion, let the kids adorn their wheels – bikes, trikes, strollers – with red, white and blue. A limited amount of decorations will be available, with lots of tape and scissors! Wheels of all kinds can be left in the pavilion, ready for the bike parade and competition at 1 pm on Tuesday 4 July!
TUESDAY, JULY 4th – PARTY TIME
Pool opens at 11 am. Anyone in the community, member or non-member, is welcome to swim and enjoy the facilities from noon-4pm. Bike parade is at 1 pm. Food will be available for purchase from noon-2:30 pm – hotdogs, hamburgers, chips, drinks – ye good ‘ole American fare!!! Pool closes for all at 6 pm, so everyone can go enjoy some celebrations!
HAPPY HOUR EVERY FRIDAY
Purchase your food from the truck, or bring your own. Come enjoy dining “al fresco” at Kathy’s Korner, any time from 6 pm. All members are welcome to dine outside, and mix and mingle with friends and family. Bring your own beverage (just NO GLASS please)
RICARDO’S LUNCH BAR – Open weekdays, noon-2 pm.
Come support this merry band of volunteers who make lunch available and affordable to you, every weekday, serving out of Kathy’s Korner. Hamburgers , hotdogs, pizza, chicken nuggets, chips, cookies, s’mores, Klondike bars, Luigi’s Ice, cold drinks – there’s something for everyone! Enjoy lunch without having to pack it, cook it, or clean up! Or just check out the array of delicious snacks. Check for special surprises, available when you least expect it! CASH ONLY – all proceeds supporting the recent renovation costs.
FLOAT NIGHT & PIZZA
Every Tuesday – the pool is the happening place to be. From 6-7 pm, the swim team is selling pizza at Kathy’s Korner. From 7-8 pm, it’s float night. Bring any kind of float you have (and there’s even an air compressor to assist — if only it were that easy for other kinds of inflation…) and purchase an ice-cream float, available for purchase from 7:30-8:15 pm – just $1!
Dinner, entertainment and exhausted kids – what more could you wish for!!

Shrimp Boil was a delicious success and there’s more! Sunday, July 9 and Sunday, July 16, we have new members who have volunteered to provide Sunday Night Dinners. Watch this space for details and please support the effort they are contributing, and the pool, which all profits are donated to!
