Yes, we are now open 11am - 9pm every day!  SUMMER IS HERE!

FOOD TRUCK FRIDAY - Virginia Grill

Join friends and neighbors for a fun evening of delicious eats as we welcome Virginia Grill Food Truck to Broyhill Crest Pool from 5-7:30 p.m. This local favorite is serving up mouthwatering meals like Grilled Chicken Over Rice, Lamb Gyros, Falafel, Chicken Burgers, Butter Chicken, and more - all with crispy fries and big flavor! Vegetarian and kid-friendly options are available too. Most entrees just $16 - come hungry!

Bring the whole family, grab dinner, and dine alfresco at Kathy's Korner, and show some love for a local small business. (Sorry, no pre-orders this time.)

FLOAT NIGHT

Every Tuesday from 7-8pm, bring any inflatable rafts you have to the pool, toss them in and enjoy fun and frivolity with family and friends.  It's a fun time for all - and wind up your evening with a delicious ice cream float  for $2, served from 7:30-8:15pm.
Swim team also sells pizza before float night, available from 6pm. Make an evening of it!

SHRIMP BOIL

The annual New Orleans Shrimp Boil is scheduled for Sunday, June 29.  It's a wonderful evening of food and fun.  Dinner includes shrimp, spicy potatoes, corn, corn bread and coleslaw.  Dessert is bread pudding with a particularly delicious sauce option available, or watermelon.  But wait - there's more - a undisclosed feature drink, beer and wine will be available for a donation.  All this for just $15 per person if preordered by Friday, June 27, or $18 at the entrance on the evening.  Check out the preorder details on the Cool Pool News bulletin board at the pool.

THINKING AHEAD

July 4th will be here before your know it.  If your kids plan to decorate their bikes for the annual Parade Around the Pool, start planning now.  Decorations are out and available in many stores.  We will have a bike-decorating event in the pavilion on July 3rd, where your kids can enjoy the company of others while decorating their "rides".  Please plan to bring decorations to use and share - we will provide a few extra embellishments, tape, lots of encouragement and a space to store their bikes for the bike parade the following day!

July 4th is a big day, open to all in the community from noon to 4 pm. (For Members — 11 am-6 pm)   We provide fun and food - but we NEED VOLUNTEERS to sign up for cooking, serving and cleaning duties.  Please check the website and sign up to help.  Don't wait for "someone else" to do all the work, be that "someone".

MARK YOUR CALENDAR

Annual Adult party Summerfest is planned for Saturday July 12th. It truly is a fun night with food, live music, late night swimming and loads of laughs.  Details coming soon - but plan accordingly and secure your babysitter now (if needed!), and invite your friends.

The event is open to all in the community.
