Workday Update

At the first pool workday, Kenneth Gilbert finishes installing the new Barracuda Leader Board donated by Bill O’Neill in memory of his wife Donna Gleason O’Neill. Both O’Neills have been active BCRC and Barracuda supporters.

A shout-out to the volunteers, young and old, at the first workday Saturday, May 10, who cleaned, scrubbed, unpacked and schlepped pool chairs, tables, umbrellas, etc. to get a head start on readying the pool for its May 24 Opening.

Another chance to do your part on our Second Work Day, Saturday, May 17, 9 am-1pm. Bring a smile, gloves and hearty spirit to put the final touches on the grounds and facilities for a splendid Opening Day.  In the event of inclement weather, we have a rain date on Sunday, May 18. 

Food Truck Friday: You Don’t Want to Miss This One

The Cousin‘s Maine Lobster truck is rolling into the Broyhill Crest pool on Friday, May 16 from 5 to 7:30 PM, and it’s bringing the best of New England straight to our neighborhood.

Walk ups only – no pre-orders, so get there early and bring your appetite. From legendary Lobster Rolls and New England Clam Chowder to crowd favorites like quesadillas and Whoopie pies, this is your chance to indulge in seafood magic featured on Shark Tank and adored across the country.
Come out, support the food truck and soak up the Friday night vibes with friends and neighbors. Trust us—you’ll be sorry if you miss it. This is not just dinner… It’s an event.
