Parking Lot Update

You may have noticed that the parking lot was patched to repair numerous potholes and the entire lot was resurfaced before opening. We also worked with our contractor to revise the striping to add more parking spaces, but unfortunately it didn't work out as intended.

We're working now with our contractor to make some revisions, but in the meantime if you have a large SUV or a full size pickup truck please do not park on the outside two rows (nearest the cell tower and the dumpsters). Those spaces are more suited for compact vehicles, and we need to keep the lanes clear for emergency vehicles to access the lower gate. Thanks for your cooperation as we work through this.

A Big Thank You…

…to the volunteers who stepped up and made the Opening Day Picnic a hearty success. Volunteers like them make or break the BCRC experience — from the Board members to the swim team parents to the Float Night ice cream scoopers and in between, the neighborhood’s Coolest Pool runs on Volunteer Power.  Please take a look at our volunteer app SignUp Genius and add your power to the BCRC experience. We can use the extra hands.

Opening Day

Never let cold pool water and 70-degree temperatures get in the way!  These kids are leaping for joy that the pool is open for the summer. And who was the first brave soul in the pool? Board Member Debo Burk who pretty much holds the adult first-in-the pool record.
