We need all kinds of help from heavy lifting to cleaning out refrigerators and freezers – so all ages and abilities can pitch in. | Pickle Ball Court Peril The Broyhill Crest Recreation Club has the good fortune of sitting next door to Kendale Woods Park, with its pickle ball, tennis, basketball courts and gym equipment for its young visitors. Many BCRC members take advantage of the pickle ball court as well as a significant number of others from the Broyhill Crest community. Unfortunately, the Fairfax County Park Authority has decided to remove the pickleball court from Kendale Woods Park and will begin repainting and stripping the court on June 3. The Park Authority claims that noise complaints and parking limitations prompted its decision. Yet many community members are skeptical of this explanation, and neither the Broyhill Crest Community Association nor other community groups, including BCRC, were approached by the Park Authority for their input. Dear Members and Neighbors,
We’re excited. Member registration is now open and it’s time to join the coolest pool in the neighborhood for a season full of fun and friendship.
Broyhill Crest Recreation Club (BCRC), popular for its shaded grounds, friendly spirit, and Barracudas swim team, offers a summer long vacation right in your backyard conveniently located two blocks from Mason Crest Elementary School, just off Murray Lane.
Aside from our main and wading pools, we have plenty of room to spread out and relax. Basketball, pickle-ball, and sand volleyball are all available. Youngsters can splash in the wading pool, dig in our sandboxes or explore the playgrounds.
We also have a strong swim team that participates in the NVSL (Northern Virginia Swim League). Our active swim team helps kids become strong, healthy swimmers. Watch them experience the thrill of competition in a positive environment, while making friends of all ages. Bubbles, our early development swim team, as well as private swim lessons, will also be available.
There are lots of opportunities to connect with old friends and make new ones. We have float nights every Tuesday,, where inflatable floats of all kinds, from dragons and unicorns to pizza slices and avocados joust while the root beer floats flow! Also, Friday Happy Hours, Bingo nights, and separate children and adult parties
Come experience the best street eats at our Friday Night food trucks, from May until October so you can enjoy a break from cooking before, during and after summer. Enjoy a Sunday Night dinner when our members show off their culinary skills. Members with email can choose to get our periodic publication Cool Pool News so you can keep current with upcoming pool-related information all season long

Shareholders receive a $25 membership discount, a complimentary reservation of the party pavilion, and five (5) free guest passes, and if shareholders register by May 5 they receive yet another five(5) free passes from our 5-5-5 Special. Use the guest passes to invite your friends and summer guests to join you on your summer vacation at the Broyhill Crest pool!
For those returning members, we will continue with our simplified rate structure. The recently introduced membership platform, successfully streamlines enrollment and the front desk check-in process. You can do everything from managing the family members on your account to purchasing guest passes easily online. Check out all the details from the link on our webpage, https://broyhillcrestpool.net. Our rates have increased slightly to keep pace with inflation, increasing management contract costs as well as capital improvement investments.
It is truly an exciting time for BCRC, and we look forward to welcoming you to our newly renovated facilities and seeing you this summer at our Cool Pool!
